Hi!
I’M KAMILA ANNA DZIERZAK
FUTURES & SOCIAL DESIGNER
CULTURAL RESEARCHER & STRATEGIST
ABOUT ME
I am local to Copenhagen and Krakow. A designer, researcher & strategist with a flair for futures and the newest transitions and symptoms, as well as an attachment to traditions and cultural heritage. My interests lie primarily in helping companies, actors and brands navigate ever-changing cultural norms and behaviours to translate them into actionable insights. I have +5 years of experience in design studios/consultancies/NGO world designing and researching intersections of topics and spheres. I am educated as a Service Systems Designer (and Economist), currently dedicating my time to researching tech-infused social care transformations at ITU as a PhD Fellow, as well as running a small initiative called XchangeKnit to foster non-monetary transaction models. In my free time, I love to educate myself, indulge in analogue entertainment and connect with close ones.

PHILOSOPHY
In my philosophy of practice, I am inspired and use multiple approaches:
Futures Design,
Systems Thinking,
Anthropological & Cultural Studies,
Social Design for Meaningfulness.
Observing daily cultural shifts and signals of change ensures that my work stays relevant and up-to-date. With an attachment to traditions and cultural heritage, I am trying to reinvigorate positive sustainable practices once forgotten and bring them back in the future. Meaningfulness is essential while designing, creating and contributing to new solutions. Making sure that the process and the outcome are ethical and shaping a better world, is at top of my mind every time when embarking on a design journey.
